The hemorrhoid is not an open wound. It's not bleeding or open or anything.StopHemorrhoids answers:Bad idea. The exposed tissue needs to heal. Take a stool softener, aok in a warm bath, use tucks pads to wipe instead of toilet paper, apply hemroid ointment to the infected area. That's all you need to do.Carol
