Paul asks…Do external hemorrhoids bleed?My GP diagnosed me with hemorrhoids and from what I have gathered, they are external hemorrhoids, but I noticed whenever I have bowel movement, my anus bleeds. Sometimes the blood drips down to the toilet bowl and bowel movement is extremely painful. The blood comes from inside my anus too. I'm worried that something is wrong as I'm not sure whether external hemorrhoids cause bleeding from inside.
